Moisturizing Is The Key To Dry Skin Care

Everyone is born with beautiful soft clear skin and after day one, the skin begins to age. It goes through stages in life as we do. The childhood age is clear, plump and soft skin, the teenage years are maddening with hormones raging and oil clogging the pores. As we pass through adolescence, the skin reaches its maturity. If you are lucky, your skin will be clear and bright throughout your twenties, but soon after the skin really starts to show its age.

If a skin care regimen is not started at this age, then your face will be full of lines and completely dried out by the time you are in your mid-fifties. Dry skin care products have made millionaires out of the owners of many skin care companies. We all want to look younger and finding an answer to care for our dry skin and plump it back up is the magic solution we are all seeking. Dry skin care products are sold by the thousands every day.

Moisturize

Moisturizing is the key to dry skin care. There are three layers of skin, the skin we can’t see, the skin we will see and the skin we can see. The top lay, or the skin we can see, dries up as we age. Exfoliating the dead skin cells to see the skin we will see is the next process. But for this skin to be healthy, we need to feed the skin we can’t skin, or the third layer of skin.

This is the layer we need to moisturize. There are moisturizers which can reach down into that layer, so when those cells reach the surface, they will be bright and plump. But performing your dry skin care with these special moisturizers has to be done on a regular basis. Dry skin and age create fine lines and wrinkles, the dreaded words that ladies hate to hear. Dry skin care regimens are in every spa in the world.

Home based skin care companies include dry skin care treatments in their demonstrations and provide the best dry skin care products on the market. Every woman over the age of 40 will have a dry skin care product in her bathroom. Women must always use at least one moisturizer a day and stay out of the sun to help keep their skin from drying out. For women who are avid sportswomen or outdoorswomen, there are moisturizers with SPF’s in them to help protect their skin from the sun.

Men are getting into the health and beauty world and starting to use these moisturizers as well. A man’s dry skin care regimen is just as important as a woman’s. A man’s skin dries out and ages faster than a woman’s and they show their age before a woman does.

Dry skin cells need to be plumped up in order to look healthy. Moisturizing daily is the answer to dry skin care. A good cleanser, toner and moisturizer used daily can take years off of your life.
